Four people have been awarded New Year’s Honours by the Queen.
Raymond Cathline has been made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to jobseekers and improving community diversity.
Mr Cathline works in the Business Support Team at the Department of Work and Pensions.
Peter Lovell has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his work helping small businesses access loans. He is the chief executive of the North London Credit Union.
Both John Ayers and Doreen Oatham were made Medallists of the Order of the British Empire. Mr Ayers, a special constable in the Met, was recognised for services to community policing, while Mrs Oatham was commended for services to the guiding and brownie movement in Palmers Green.
