RIOT police have pushed hooded youngsters out of Enfield Town as clashes took place after tense gatherings.
Rioters with scarves wrapped around their faces, carrying bricks, some on bicycles, fled down Queens Road after clashing with police outside the Tesco store on Southbury Road.
Police are attempting to push the group – which numbers around 30 – back onto Southbury Road towards the junction with Great Cambridge Road.
Queens Road resident Emily Attwood said: “I saw lots of riot police and police dog vans chasing after loads of teenagers with hoods over their faces.
“It's very scary to see bricks landing next to your car and house.”
Unconfirmed reports suggest clashes started between the groups after rioters targeted stores in Church Street – with Hmv amongst the shops reportedly attacked.
