Children can enjoy a free play day in Enfield Town Park on Wednesday.
The event, which will run between 12pm and 4pm, is organised by Enfield Council to mark national Playday.
Bouncy castles, arts and crafts activities, a dance workshop, face painting as well as folk dancing will be on offer.
Councillor Ayfer Orhan, cabinet member for children and young people, said:
“Enfield Town Park will be a wonderful playground for young children and they can have some fun in the splash pad now that the water has been treated and cleaned.
“This is a special day celebrating our children’s right to play, but I also hope that Enfield’s children take full advantage of the free activities at centres throughout the borough and the adventure places in our parks.”
Thousands of children and their families are expected to get involved in hundreds of community events throughout the UK to mark Playday. The campaign aims to highlight the importance of play in children’s lives.
