Caribbean Film Festival
The summer season of films continues with Le bonheur d'Elza (July 18) about a young Parisian woman who returns to her native island of Guadeloupe looking for her father and Antigua's first feature film Sweetest Mango (July 25), a rom com about a woman's struggles to adjust to life on a small island following her return from Canada.

The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson
This fascinating documentary tells the extraordinary story of legendary musician Wilko Johnson who, diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given a few months to live, accepted his fate and embarked on a farewell tour. Two years later he confounded the odds and had to integrate those enlightened lessons learnt under sentence of death into the unexpected and ongoing future of his life. Screening followed by a Q&A with director Julien Temple.

Tales Big Day Out

An Evening with Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens
Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens is a Grammy-nominated American hard rock singer who first gained attention as the lead singer of Judas Priest from 1996 to 2003, and then Iced Earth and Yngwie Malmsteen. He currently tours the world as a solo artist and as part of the group Project Rock.

Billy Fisher is a dreamer. Bored with his humdrum life in Yorkshire he plots his escape to the gold-paved streets of London. This is a funny and fast-paced musical based on Keith Warehouse and Willis Hall's hugely popular play Billy Liar and directed by Guy Unsworth who trained at Mountview Academy.

The Turn of the Screw
Tower Theatre Company presents Henry James’ classic tale of a young governess who arrives at a remote estate in Bly to care for two orphans, Miles and Flora. Wild but angelic, they charm their new guardian with flowers, poetry and songs. But as she grows to love her two wards, the chilling history of the house and its former inhabitants surfaces and the governess faces a terrifying battle to protect the children.

Black Boxes
Peer through the peepholes of these bright orange boxes and you will find surprising images. London artist Noel Hertling believes art in functional spaces often goes unnoticed by visitors and he has aimed to break down these boundaries with this exhibition inspired by the well-known cockpit recorders.

The Highgate Vampire Symposium
In spring 1970 Highgate’s local ghost was first branded a ‘vampire’, but 45 years later are we any closer to understanding what, if anything, really lurks in N6?
