Healthcare staff took time out yesterday to raise cash in the memory of a former colleague.
A total of £216 was raised in just one hour by staff at Fortuna Healthcare in memory of 60-year-old area sales manager Brian Stoneage, who died in February from a heart attack.
Workers organised festive activities including a raffle and a tombola in the office in Crown Road in Southbury.
The event was the most recent of regular activities. Staff raised £254 for the charity in September at a coffee morning with a cake sale and mini hoopla competition.
