Tottenham Hotspur players hand-delivered Christmas gifts to children staying at two Enfield hospitals on Wednesday.
Carlo Cudicini, Moussa Dembélé, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen visited North Middlesex University Hospital in Sterling Way with assistant head coach Steffen Freund.
Steven Caulker, William Gallas, Jake Livermore, Scott Parker and goalkeeping coach Tony Parks visited Kingfisher Ward at Chase Farm Hospital in The Ridgeway.
The annual visit aims to put a smile on the faces of children and their families in what can be a tough time of year to be in hospital.
Caulker said: "Christmas is an important time of year for us to come down, spend some time with the kids, hand out some presents, and hopefully give them as good a Christmas as possible.
“I’ve done Christmas hospital visits at Swansea, Bristol City and Yeovil, but this is my first one with Spurs and hopefully the kids enjoyed it as much as we did."
Theresa Murphy, nursing director at North Middlesex University Hospital, said: “The children, their families and our hard working staff were delighted by getting a visit from the players, laden with gifts, and I know that it will go a long way towards giving them an extra boost as they stay in hospital over Christmas.”
