Enfield Southgate MP David Burrowes has called a public meeting amid concerns over a multi-million pound cycling scheme.
Enfield Borough Council has won a share of Mayor of London's £100 million funding to create 'mini-Holland' cycle schemes.
However, the Conservative MP has called a public meeting for Palmers Green residents as he believes the £30 million scheme could have a major impact on the area.
Costas Georgiou, chairman of the Green Lanes Business Association, will also be speaking at the meeting.
Initial plans suggest that a cycle lane will go through Palmers Green high street in Green Lanes which Mr Burrowes believes could affect businesses.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 24 at 8pm in the large hall of St Monica’s Church in Stonard Road, Palmers Green.
