People of all ages teamed up to give a street a much-needed spring clean.
The campaign group We Love Myddelton Road was formed to improve the street at the centre of Bowes Park, in Palmers Green and volunteers hope their work on Saturday, will help to regenerate the area and encourage people to shop locally.
They are also hoping to have a street festival down the road in Bowes Park after scooping the an award for best small community market.
Toby Nation, chairman of the We Love Myddleton Road group, said: "The combination of a national Clear-Up Day; the first market since the presentation of the best small community market award and the completion by English Heritage of refurbishment work on four shop fronts means we have a perfect opportunity to showcase the improvements in Bowes Park.
“By taking greater pride in our neighbourhood we can help make it a better places to work and live."
