The Enfield Independent has asked every parliamentary candidate to give five reasons why they should become an MP next month.
Deborah Cairns, candidate standing in Enfield North for UKIP, has given her reasons to vote UKIP on May 7
1) I would campaign to get the urgent care centre upgraded, and be fit for purpose, until such a time as we can get another A&E within the area.
2) Scrap car parking charges at local hospitals, which target the most vulnerable of people.
3) Get more free and accessible short-term parking to encourage support for local businesses.
4) Fight to maintain weekly refuse collections.
5) I have pledged my support to help in the saving of the Green Dragon pub, which has been a local landmark for over 300 years. Many local pubs are being eradicated, which loses social interaction and community connections.
