An aspiring artist from Enfield has won a prestigious scholarship.
Art Academy London, in association with Hitachi Capital UK, has announced aspiring artist Chikaora Obiora, from Enfield, as the winner of a competition to secure a complementary scholarship to join its Fine Art BA Course.
Chikaora, 21, was named as the winner, obtaining a scholarship covering all tuition fees for the three year full-time course commencing in September 2020.

From all the entries received, Chikaora’s depiction of sisterhood, capturing its intimacy and beauty, was selected as the winning entry by a distinguished panel of judges including Henry Little (Executive Director, The Fine Art Group), Kate Gordon (Founder, London Art Studies), Tai -Shan Schierenberg (Judge, Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year) and Sid Motion (Founder, Sid Motion Gallery).
Obiora’s winning submission, alongside all other shortlisted entries, are being showcased in the Art Academy London’s online gallery.
