Drivers are facing disruption in and around Enfield due to temporary closures for roadworks, starting this week.
Notices from Enfield Council in this week’s edition of the Enfield Independent detail when the closures are due to happen and any other restrictions that may be needed while the works are carried out.
Part of Borden Avenue is set to be closed from 8am to 6pm on Thursday as a package of highway works get underway.
The road will be shut, as and when directed by signs, between its junction with Village Road and the common boundary of Nos. 28 and 30.
The following day The Meadway, between its junction with Bourne Avenue and Greenway, is due to be closed, again between 8am and 6pm.
On Monday, the works are due to lead to the closure of Beaconsfield Road, between its junction with Ordnance Road and Rotherfield Road, at the same times.
This package of highway works are due to finish in Medcalf Road, from its junction with Ordnance Road, between 8am and 6pm on Tuesday.
More roadworks are due to begin in Trinity Avenue from Wednesday.
The street is set to be shut, between its junction with the A10 Great Cambridge Road and Melbourne Way, from 8am to 6pm for four days.
The full length of Queen Anne’s Road is due to be closed to vehicles for two days, again from 8am to 6pm, on June 28.
A section of Montagu Crescent, between the common boundaries of Nos. 37 and 35 and 29 and 31, is also due to be temporarily closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm on June 28 for utility works.
The following day part of Eastfield Road is due to be closed overnight, again for utility works.
The closure is set to be in place from 8pm to 5am on June 30 and will affect the road from its junction with Hertford Road for approximately 30 metres eastbound.
York Road, between Ridge Avenue and Colne Road, is also due to be closed from 8am to 6pm on June 30.
