A 17-YEAR-OLD from Enfield has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with murder.
The teenager, who cannot be named, appeared at Thames Youth Court yesterday charged with the murder of 16-year-old Nassirudeen Osawe in Upper Street, Islington on December 27.
He has also been charged with grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon, and will reappear at the Old Bailey next Wednesday, January 9.
Nassirudeen's friend, 17, who was injured, was released from hospital at the weekend.
A total of four people have been arrested in connection with the murder.
A second 17-year-old was released without charge and two 18-year-olds have been freed on police bail.
