A popular vegan market aiming to make veganism more accessible is set to return to Enfield.
Vegan Market Co will take over Enfield Market in the town centre on Sunday, August 8, between 10.30pm and 4pm.
The company, which ran its first event in 2016 and now covers over 40 areas nationwide, will showcase the best vegan street food, artisan bakes and craft cheeses.
There will also be handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing and jewellery, arts and crafts and charity stalls.
VMCO’s founder Lewis Beresford said: “We are so excited to be back in Enfield.
“We work hard to find the country’s leading vegan producers, from street food vendors and bakers to ethical clothing and cosmetic producers.
“We also work with many local businesses and can’t wait to give all of these fantastic producers the platform they deserve and introduce them to the wonderful people of Enfield.”
The event will also be joined by vegan chef, Josie Clements, who is currently on season 20 of Hell’s Kitchen USA.
She will be giving two talks and a Q&A at 11:30 and 14:30.
Vegan Market Co says it is tackling climate crisis by promoting sustainable lifestyle choices and supports conservation projects worldwide.
As part of that drive it pledges to plant one tree for every business that takes part in its events.
