THE UNCLE of a teenager who was slain in the "prime of life" has appealed for the public to help catch his killers.
Congolese Masaya Bolombi, who refers to Henry Bolombi as his son, said the 18-year-old was part of a youth group and played football for Lea Valley Football club.
Mr Bolombi, of Wyldfield Gardens, said: "I want to take this opportunity to appeal for assistance from the public to find his killers. I am distraught that Henry was killed in the prime of life."
Henry, who was 18, was stabbed to death in a residential part of Plevna Road in the early hours of New Year's Day. He and a group of nine friends had got off a bus in Fore Street and became involved in a dispute with four other youths.
Police arrested an 18-year-old in connection with their investigation yesterday morning. They say they are keeping an open mind about the motive for the attack.
Henry Bolombi attended Salisbury school in Edmonton and was due to start at Southgate College to study English.
