More than 30 new charging points for electric vehicles are set to be introduced across Haringey.
A notice from Haringey Council in this week’s edition of the Enfield and Haringey Independent details plans to create the points in 14 different locations across the borough.
The majority of these will involve converting existing parking spaces and the bays will be available at any time for charging vehicles.
The notice states that “whilst there would be no charge to park in these parking places, a charge would be levied for the use of the electrical supply by the provider”.
The charging points are set to be provided in these locations:
- Alexandra Park Road N22 – Two new charging points.
- Berkeley Road N8 – Six permit holders spaces to convert to four charging points.
- Bryanstone Road N8 – Three residents spaces to convert to two charging points.
- Church Road N6 – Three residents spaces to convert to two charging points.
- Crouch Hall Road N8 – Six residents spaces to convert to four charging points.
- Curzon Road N10 – Two new charging points.
- Middle Lane N8 – Six shared use spaces to convert to four charging points.
- Midhurst Avenue N10 – Three shared use spaces to convert to two charging points.
- Milton Road N6 – Three residents spaces to convert to two charging points.
- Onslow Gardens N10 – Two new charging points.
- Queens Avenue N10 – Three shared use spaces to convert to two charging points.
- Southwood Lane Road N6 – Six residents spaces to convert to four charging points.
- Temple Road N8 – Three permit holders spaces to convert to two charging points.
- The Park N6 – Three shared use spaces to convert to two charging points.
