Shoppers enjoyed a festive meeting with a polar bear at Palace Gardens in Enfield on the first of its three Seasonal Sundays in the run up to Christmas.
Polar bear Inka Svalbard and her Sammi friend were part of the fun and free entertainment for visitors to enjoy.
The life-sized bear and her cubs did three walkabouts at the event and there were also Snow Queens on stilts and Lorraine Deer. A pair of frosted Ice Elves performed amazing acrobatics.
Queen Snowella will be coming to Palace Gardens on December 5 on her snowman-powered chariot, while Scrooge will be there on his Christmas carriage and the Celebrity Prance and Dancer will be strutting their stuff.
Crumpet the Elf and his penguin friends are lined up for the following Sunday with more dancing and comedy on the cards as the Christmas party spirit gets into full swing.
The free events start at noon and finish at 4pm.
The performers will be in both Palace Gardens and Palace Exchange centres.
