Detectives investigating a serious assault have charged a teenager.
The Metropolitan Police says a 14-year old boy has been charged in connection with a stabbing at a supermarket car park in Harringay on Monday January 24.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance involving a group of people in the Sainsbury’s carpark on Williamson Road, off Green Lanes.
A 15-year-old boy was found with serious injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of a bladed article in a public place and attempted robbery.
He has been remanded in police custody to appear before Highbury Corner Youth court on Thursday January 27.
