Families and young children struggling with personal growth and family relationships will receive further support in Enfield thanks to a £20,000 grant.
CHEXS, a charity that supports young people in the Enfield, Waltham Cross and Cheshunt areas, is set to receive the grant from the Warburtons Foundation, which aims to support families across the UK who are facing challenges by providing food education, product donations, and community initiatives.
Founded in 2011, CHEXS is a dedicated support service to help parents build strong relationships and trust with their child.
Through it, young people are coached and supported with a variety of projects designed to build up problem-solving as well as other tangible skills.
CHEXS says the grant will be put towards the ‘Building the Gap’ project, which provides young people the resources to build self-esteem, meaning and purpose for the future.
