A man is seriously injured after he was shot over the weekend.
The man, who is in his 20s, took himself hospital after suffering a gunshot wound.
The shooting happened in the Edmonton area, with police receiving 999 calls at around 10.50pm on Saturday, October 1.
The Metropolitan Police is not issuing any further details about where the shooting is believed to have taken place.
No arrests have been made and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
In response to the shooting, a Section 60 was authorised for the Edmonton area until 5pm on Sunday, giving police officers powers to stop and search anyone in a specific area without needing to have reasonable grounds.
