A young woman was killed in a crash between a car and a lorry.

The 21-year-old, who was a passenger in a BMW, was pronounced dead at the scene after it collided with a lorry in Mollison Avenue, Enfield, on Sunday (October 23).

Police were called to the scene at 7.36pm and the car driver, a 22-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The Metropolitan Police says the woman’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The lorry's driver  stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
