Fish and chips will be on sale for 45p at a new restaurant opening in Tottenham.
Mother Hubbard's, which has branches across the country, will be coming to High Road, Tottenham on Saturday (November 5).
The menu offers all the traditional chip shop staples as well as other options such as burgers, tacos, jacket potatoes and strips.
The first 1,000 customers will be able to claim a special offer of regular fish and chips for 45p - the price it cost when the firm opened in Bradford in 1972.
Located opposite the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, the fish and chip shop is taking over its premises from a former cab firm and will create 15 new jobs for the local community.
A Mother Hubbard’s spokesman said: "With Mother Hubbard's, it is our way of giving back to the community itself.
“It is a tip to the history of the company - 45p is what it would have cost when the first branch opened so it is our way of re-running history with a 45p offer."
