Roads near Tottenham are gridlocked after a woman in a wheelchair was hit by a van.
Police have closed off the junction of High Road in Tottenham near the junction of Bruce Grove after a crash this afternoon (January 9).
According to the Metropolitan Police, a woman believed to be in her 40s was struck by a van.
Emergency services including the London Air Ambulance attended and she was rushed to hospital.
The woman, who is said to have been using a wheelchair before the incident, currently remains in a life-threatening condition.
According to the Met, the driver stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests.
There are signifcant disruptions at the HIgh Road and in the Tottenham area.
Several buses are currently being diverted including routes 149, 259, 279 and 349.
