An Indian restaurant has closed its doors after serving food in Edmonton for over 40 years.
Established in 1982, Roshan Tandoori Restaurant in Fore Street has made a name for itself for its selection of “simple dishes” made with “finest spices from around the world”.
However the restaurant has made a decision to close, with one post on Facebook calling it the “end of an era”.
The restaurant was much-loved by many reviewers, with one stating it had “the best curry” they ever had.
One reviewer, who said he has dined at the eatery for 25 years, called the food “absolutely exquisite”.
The website for the restaurant stated: “Our many years of experience won’t fail in sustaining a truly unique, gratifying & enticing setting.
“Our friendly service & our chef’s culinary skills will always deliver the perfect dining & culinary experience. Restaurant is a place for simplicity. Good food, good beer, and good service.”
