A man pulled his pants down, pushed his groin against a woman and exposed himself in front of a child has been jailed.
Hasan Degirmenci, of Hertford Road, Enfield, was jailed for 16 months and handed a five-year sexual harm prevention order at Inner London Crown Court.
He had pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault and one count of indecent exposure at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on December 20.
His victim had boarded a crowded Piccadilly line train with her 12-year-old daughter on December 2, 2022, at 6pm.
Shortly before reaching her stop, the woman felt something pressed against her from behind.
The girl then saw Degirmenci with his trousers down and his genitals exposed.
The woman confronted Degirmenci, and they all got off at Knightsbridge station, and the 34-year-old - who still had his trousers down - was followed by the family until they alerted station staff, who called in British Transport Police officers.
Degirmenci was sentenced to 16 months' imprisonment at Inner London Crown Court last Tuesday.
He was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.
