A London Underground Station was closed due to a police incident yesterday evening (February 5).
Police requested the closure at Oakwood station on the Piccadilly Line in Enfield, according to Transport for London (TfL).
At 7.35pm, TfL sent a Tweet confirming the station’s closure.
They said: “This station is closed at the request of the police.”

More than three hours later, at 10.53pm, TfL said that the station had reopened.
It is not yet clear what the incident that forced the closure was.
TfL, the British Transport Police and the Metropolitan Police have all been contacted for more information.
