A man allegedly assaulted a woman in broad daylight at a busy junction.
Police were called to the reported assault in Seven Sisters Road, near to the Tube station, on Tuesday (February 7).
The woman, in her 50s, did not require hospital treatment, the Metropolitan Police have said.
Officers attended just before 1pm and were assisted by volunteers from the Shomrim Stamford Hill neighbourhood watch group.
A spokesperson for the Met said: “A 32-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody at an east London police station.”
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 3319/07Feb."
