Shocking video footage shows a man kicking a dog moments after something caused it to cower between his legs.
The RSPCA say they are concerned for the animal’s welfare, as vets believe it may have suffered after the blow.
The camera phone footage shows a man walking a dog in Lebus Street, outside Tesco Express in Tottenham Hale, on February 4 at 5.25pm.
The dog then appears to cower between the man’s leg before he seems to kick down on its head.
The animal welfare charity has released the footage in hope that someone recognises the man.
RSPCA animal rescue officer Neil Coleman, who is looking into the incident, said: “Our main priority is the welfare of the dog - we want to trace the dog and make sure he is okay. So we’re urging anyone who has any information about this dog to get in touch with us so we can check the pet’s welfare.
“The footage has been reviewed by vets and they are of the view that the dog suffered as a result of being kicked.”
Anyone with information should contact the RSPCA’s appeals line in complete confidence on 0300 123 8018.
