Trains are being severely disrupted due to a burst water main flooding a station.
The railway at Bruce Grove station is said to be flooded due to the burst pipe in Philip Lane since the early morning today (April 7).
National Rail says that London Overground trains are currently unable to run between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town / Cheshunt, as of 4pm.
Trains are able to run between Liverpool Street and Chingford, but are subject to cancelations and delays of up to 20 minutes.
It is estimated that disruption will last until 6pm, but it is likely this could extend after affecting the railway all day.
Network Rail and Thames Water are still on site, but the water has been pumped clear of the line and the track is being inspected ahead of reopening.
Thames Water says tat the burst has had “no effect on local water supplies”.
A message reads: “We’re continuing to repair the damaged pipe and expect to complete this later today. There may be some traffic disruption while we carry out this work.
“We’re sorry if this burst has affected your day and are working hard to get things back to normal as soon as possible.”
