A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was stabbed in South Tottenham.
Police were called at 12.15am on Sunday (June 4) to reports of a male carrying a knife in the vicinity of Lawrence Road.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, officers discovered a man suffering from stab injuries.
The victim, aged in his 30s, was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
His condition has been described by police as “life-threatening”.
Officers have subsequently arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody at this time.
Police cordons were put in place along Lawrence Road and Lawrence Close following the incident while officers conducted a forensic examination of the area.
