An overnight standoff between police and a man on the roof of a north London hospital is still ongoing.
Police were called to North Middlesex in Edmonton yesterday (June 10) at 4.22pm by staff after a man climbed onto the hospital roof.
He reportedly refused to climb down from the roof near to the hospital’s Accident and Emergency entrance and threw items at staff and passersby.
Police confirmed today that they remain at the scene and are negotiating with the man.
Cordons are currently in place around North Middlesex hospital.
A police spokesperson said that there were no reports of any injuries.
