A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he “jumped from a moving vehicle” in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to Fore Street in Edmonton at 2.10am today (July 22) to reports of a man suffering a head injury.
The London Ambulance Service rushed the man, believed to be aged in his 20s, to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
A police spokesperson said that at this early stage of the investigation officers believe the man jumped from a moving vehicle which then left the scene.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries continue.
A section of Fore Street remains closed while police officers investigate.
Detours are in place for bus routes 102, 144, 149, 259, 349 and 491.
