An e-scooter rider is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash with a car.
Police were called to at the junction of Parsonage Lane and Baker Street in Enfield shortly before 4pm today (July 23).
The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended the scene of the crash.
The e-scooter rider, a man aged in his 30s, was rushed to an east London hospital where his condition is being treated as life-threatening.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests at this stage of the investigation.
A police spokesperson confirmed that road closures are in place while enquiries continue.
Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for any witnesses or drivers with dash cam footage to come forward.
