A man from Edmonton has appeared in court after he poured an “unknown liquid” into a slot machine.
Jahrell Bowman-Warren, 33, admitted that he caused criminal damage to the gaming machine at Shipleys Bingo at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre.
The court heard that on July 22 last year CCTV captured the defendant sitting in the gaming area of the betting arcade.
He was then seen pouring a cup of unknown liquid into the money slot.
When he was arrested he told police that the person who used the machine after him had broken it.
But Bowman-Warren later pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
On Thursday (September 21) Bowman-Warren, of Croyland Road in Edmonton, was fined £150 at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.
