Commuters have been hit by delays of more than an hour on M25 this morning.
Three lanes of the clockwise carriageway of the motorway have been shut since around 5.30am this morning (November 21) between Junction 25 Waltham Cross and Junction 26 Waltham Abbey.
The closures were put in place due to a “failed bridge joint”, which required emergency repairs.
Posting to X, National Highways said: “Expect significant delays to build through the morning peak period as the work to repair the joint will take several hours.”
