An 83-year-old pedestrian has died after a crash at a zebra crossing in Wood Green.
Police were called to Bury Road close to the junction with Lymington Avenue at around 11.15am on November 7.
A man and a woman, both aged in their 80s, were on a zebra crossing in the road when they were reportedly hit by a car.
Both were rushed to hospital for treatment, but 83-year-old Grigoria Yiannoullou succumbed to her injuries on November 11.
The man injured in the crash has since been discharged from hospital.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was subsequently interviewed under caution as part of the police investigation. She has not been arrested at this time.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses or drivers with video footage of the crash to get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Rebecca Collens, from the Met’s serious collision investigation unit, said: “If you were in the area and witnessed the incident, or if you were a driver who may have captured events on dashcam footage, then please get in contact if you have yet to do so.”
