A rising indie-pop star sang her heart out to schoolchildren to inspire them to pick up a guitar.
Natalie Shay, who last year supported BRIT Rising Star nominee Caity Baser at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, performed for pupils at Enfield's St John & St James C of E Primary on February 21.
The performance was part of a national tour of schools, with sets being played to up to 300 children at a time.
Shay, an alumna of the BRIT School originally from Arnos Grove, has made appearances at Latitude, Victorious and SXSW, and sold out her own show at Omeara.
She has recently collaborated with indie-pop band Fickle Friends on their new single Doing Well, which was played on BBC Radio 1 last week.
The track is about the dangers of dreaming about the future and forgetting to live in the moment.
Shay said: "Doing well is the daydream of success.
"Sometimes we imagine that we’ll know when we’ve quenched our hunger for success, but will it really make us happy?
"And can we find happiness in what we already have."
The singer added: "This is a track about learning to enjoy the ride.
"It’s one of my favourite tracks to play live."
