Forensics tents were set up at a crime scene where a man was stabbed to death a short distance from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Pictures at the scene show forensics officers at Northumberland Park, after a man was found with a number of stab injuries today (April 7) at 5.51am.
The whole of the road as well as Vicarage Road and the north end of Worcester Avenue are currently closed as investigations continue.
Emergency services carried out CPR when they arrived, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe they know who the man is and are working to inform his next of kin, but there have been no arrests at this stage of the investigation.
Tottenham Hotspur FC are still going ahead with their home game against Nottingham Forest, despite the road closures and major crime scene.
The club announced: “This afternoon’s Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest will go ahead as scheduled, however the whole of Northumberland Park Road and Vicarage Road, as well as the north end of Worcester Avenue, will remain closed throughout.
“We shall update supporters as and when we can, and ask for fans to be patient and allow extra travel time.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and all those affected.”
