Hundreds of youngsters had a fun time meeting their favourite farmyard creatures while out with their parents shopping.
The fun day was arranged at the Palace Gardens shopping centre in Enfield, where they met Hettie the Highland cow and her companion Mr Tatters the badger and Farmer Giles.
Hettie was joined by Heidi the Herdwick sheep with her pram full of little lambs — and a pair of Easter bunnies thrown in for good measure.
Bob and Gerry appeared on stilts, dressed as a giant butterfly and a colourful gerbera flower.
Pete and Ged Moss performed two shows for the youngsters, who also decorated animal masks and flowers at a craft workshop.
Palace Gardens now plans to celebrate St George’s Day on April 28 with a visit from Dragon Smokey and his friend Manly the Knight. Smokey will perform three walkabouts in M&S Square from 12pm to 4pm.
