A man was rushed to hospital with head injuries following a possible assault.
The Metropolitan Police were called at 6.05am on Sunday (May 19) to reports of an injured man in High Road, Tottenham, at the junction of Whitehall Street.
London Ambulance Service attended alongside officers and found a man suffering head injuries.
He was rushed to the hospital, where his condition is still being assessed.
Officers believe the man was assaulted. No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries continue.
The AA has reported that High Road is shut both ways between White Hart Lane and Whitehall Street as a crime scene is in place.
Bus routes 149, 259, 279, 349 are diverted both ways via High Road Tottenham, Lansdowne Road, Shelbourne Road, Willoughby Lane, Northumberland Park and High Road Tottenham.
Anyone with information on the incident is urged by Met Police to call 101 citing reference 1521/19may.
