There are severe delays on an underground line after a signal failure which has blighted the morning commute.
Finsbury Park station experienced a signal failure this morning (June 12) which has caused "severe delays" across the Victoria line, according to Transport for London (TfL).
TfL said that delays will last until it is able to fix the problem at the north London underground station.
The Victoria line is relied upon by many commuters in north London at stations Kings Cross, Caledonian Road & Barnsbury, Highbury & Islington, Finsbury Park, Seven Sisters Road, and Tottenham Hale.
A TfL spokesperson said: “We apologise to Victoria line customers for the disruption to their journeys this morning.

"Engineers are working as quickly as possible to restore a normal service," he added.
Alternative travel routes have been advised by TfL which suggested people use other services.
"Underground tickets will be accepted on London Overground, Great Northern, Thameslink, Greater Anglia, South Western Railways and local bus services," TfL stated on its website.
