Traffic was stopped on M25 near Enfield earlier today after a truck carrying hay caught fire.
National Highways reported the incident at around 5.30pm, and the fire brigade attended the scene.
A truck carrying hay had caught fire on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the motorway, blocking two of three lanes close to junction 25.
The fire has also closed the slip road coming onto the M25.
National Highways warned that there are currently long delays on the approach to the incident.
Normal traffic conditions are not expected until after 9pm this evening (July 31).
