A man took a woman to an unknown address and raped her.
Shortly after midnight on Sunday August 6 last year, the victim was approached by a man in Fore Street, Edmonton.
He walked her to an unknown address nearby where he raped her, Scotland Yard said.
The victim later reported the incident to police and an investigation was launched, led by detectives based in Enfield.
The Met is now sharing an image of a man they would like to speak to.
Detective Constable Atif Farid said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim and we have been carrying out extensive enquiries to try to find the person responsible.
“We are now releasing an image of a man we need to identify and speak to in connection with this investigation.
"The picture is fairly clear and the man is wearing a distinctive top and hat.
"We would ask anyone who recognises him to contact us immediately.”
