A person has died after being hit by a train, causing major disruption at Tottenham Hale station.
A casualty on the tracks was reported near Broxbourne station at around 6am today (October 9).
Officers and paramedics attended however the person was pronounced dead shortly after.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
All lines have been closed as the incident is being dealt with by emergency services.
Trains running between Tottenham Hale and Broxbourne may be cancelled or delayed by up to 70 minutes.
Greater Anglia and Stansted Express services are expected to have severe delays until 10.30am.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to the line near Broxbourne railway station at around 6am this morning (9 October) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
