An EMERGENCY committee of the council and Primary Care Trust has met to discuss its swine flu strategy.
Council representatives attended the initial meeting of the Enfield PCT Pandemic Flu Committee at 2pm yesterday.
A Pandemic Flu Plan is being led by Dr Shahed Ahmad the Director of Public Health at Enfield PCT.
To date there are no suspected or confirmed cases of swine flu in the borough.
One case of swine flu was confirmed in Barnet on Tuesday, with a 22-year-old man admitted to hospital yesterday.
He is said to be responding well to treatment.
