A 58-YEAR-OLD motorbike rider who was killed when his bike hit a tree last week has been named.
Philip Sidney Ochiltree, of Potters Bar, Herts, was pronounced dead in Hadley Road, Enfield after his bike collided with a Ford Fiesta and ricochet onto a tree at 4pm.
A post mortem took place at Hornsey Mortuary on Friday but the cause of death has not yet been released.
The crash led to the 17-year-old driver of the car being arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and causing death by dangerous driving. Police said that he later returned to the scene.
He has been taken to a north London police station and bailed to return in July pending further inquiries.
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit based at Chadwell Heath traffic garage are investigating. Anyone with information can call the witness appeal line on 0208 597 4874.
