A MAN has been charged with driving offences after a police chase in Enfield last week.
Martin Reynolds, 23, of Sydney Road, Enfield, appeared at Enfield Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with driving a vehicle without consent, without a licence and without insurance.
A 17-year-old woman has been bailed until June 12 pending further enquiries.
A witness said she saw two police cars chasing a car down Lincoln Road towards Hertford Road at about 11.30am on Thursday.
Police confirmed the car had been followed since the Great Cambridge Road and a helicopter had also given chase.
An Enfield police spokeswoman said: “Both suspects were arrested and an ambulance was called for a male in his 30s who was treated at the scene.”
A member of staff at the BMW dealership at the A10 end of Lincoln Road claimed several of her colleagues' cars had been damaged in the chase.
