A ROAD in Edmonton has flooded this evening after heavy showers across London.
Sterling Way was blocked earlier this evening during a thunder storm, causing traffic to be diverted around the area.
The road remains flooded at the junction with the North Circular but motorists are now able to pass through it.
Parts of the capital remain on high alert after flood warnings were issued to areas over possible rising river water.
However the storm is expected to have passed, and the Environment Agency is anticipating issuing an all clear tomorrow morning.
