The Bridgman name has been associated with the making of furniture for over half a century to the 1950’s. The company established itself as a quality maker of wooden furniture and over the years has designed, produced and sold a wide variety of furniture.

Bridgman established itself in an area of north London which at the time was one of the leading places for the manufacture of furniture in the U.K. Bridgman expanded its premises and staff several times over the decades and located at its current head office in 1983.

Bridgman began the production of garden furniture in the late 1980’s in its own factories in Enfield, north London. The company had valuable experience gained over many years of manufacturing allowing the company to develop ranges of wooden garden furniture that soon became established as market leaders.

Bridgman developed ranges of traditional garden furniture but with their own unique style and has become well known throughout Europe and beyond.

In the last decade Bridgman has added ranges of garden furniture in a variety of different materials. Apart from traditional wooden garden furniture, made in Iroko timber, and a full range of Teak garden furniture, including FSC Teak; Bridgman now have ranges of Aluminium garden furniture, Stainless steel garden furniture and a beautiful range of all weather wicker furniture sold under the 4 Seasons brand.

Bridgman’s aluminium garden furniture is made by a famous German garden furniture company called Sieger. Bridgman’s Stainless Steel outdoor furniture is sourced by Bridgman from a high quality factory in the Far East.
