RESIDENTS have been urged to get on their bikes at the Enfield Festival of Cycling this weekend.
The event will be held on Sunday from 11am until 5pm at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre in Meridian Way, Picketts Lock.
It will feature a get cycling roadshow and visitors will be able to try out tandems, tricycles and a whole range of unusual fun bikes.
There will also be stands from Enfield cycle clubs, tips on where to ride in the area, and many other attractions like free face-painting and entertainment.
'Doctor Bike' will also offer a free check-up for your bike.
Roger Miles, Enfield Council's road safety and travel awareness manager, said "We want to remind everyone that cycling can be great fun as well as being good for your health."
