CHEERLEADING and trampolining are the most popular activities among children taking part in the the Enfield Summer of Fun.
The council's summer activities, aimed at primary school children, start next month and offer everything from archery to tennis.
The programme makes use of parks and libraries, leisure centres and playgrounds across the borough.
Enfield Council's sports development manager, Jan Hickman, said courses in trampolining and cheerleading were already full.
But with hundreds of course places on offer there is still plenty of opportunity to get involved.
“Our objective is to get all the courses full,” she said.
The Summer of Fun is part of a general attempt by the council to encourage Enfield residents to exercise.
Courses range in price from free for swimming to £37 for five days of indoor cricket lessons held at Enfield Grammar School.
